IXON introduces new edge gateway model

IXON introduces the SecureEdge gateway IX5xxx models: the latest addition to the SecureEdge gateway family. With this launch, IXON offers a complete portfolio of solutions for secure, reliable, and user-friendly industrial connectivity.
Security as a priority
The SecureEdge was developed with security as its starting point. The gateway was designed and built in accordance with the IEC 62443 standard and is also one of the world’s first edge gateways to be IEC 62443-4-2 certified. The device runs on a new, security-focused operating system and is equipped with SecureBoot and TPM technology, among other features. Combined with a hardware design based on the principle of security by design, the SecureEdge offers a high level of security for industrial environments.

One compact solution for industrial connectivity
The SecureEdge combines a remote access gateway, firewall and data logger in one compact industrial device. This makes it possible to securely connect, monitor and manage machines and installations without complex infrastructure or separate components.The gateway delivers fast and stable network performance and supports modern connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6 and eSIM, making it globally deployable and easy to install. The focus is not only on performance, but also on ease of use: from fast onboarding to clear status information on the touchscreen.
The difference between SecureEdge and SecureEdge Pro
Where SecureEdge focuses on a compact and powerful solution with all essential features, SecureEdge Pro offers extra performance and expansion options such as installing applications, expandable storage (SSD) and a faster processor. Together, both gateways form a clear and complete offering within the SecureEdge family.
Availability
The SecureEdge gateway is now available in multiple variants and is designed and developed by IXON and manufactured in the Netherlands. Each device comes with a two-year warranty.
