GEA benefits from IXON Cloud's extensive user management system
GEA is one of the largest suppliers of the processing industries, in particular the food processing industry. Their Refrigeration division started using the IXON Cloud platform to make use of the advanced user management system and to improve their service towards customers.
Kenny Schraven, Automation Engineer at GEA, explains that they were using another remote access solution before that was only focused on engineers, meaning they could only use VPN. They wanted a more extensive solution and started working with IXON Cloud. GEA was one of the first beta users that migrated to the new IXON Cloud platform.
Since GEA started using IXON Cloud, they have experienced several benefits. The advanced user management system is very comprehensive and makes it possible to set different roles and groups with specific access rights and permissions in a more extensive way than before.
In this case study, Kenny Schraven from GEA tells about their experience, the benefits and the implementation of IXON Cloud.
