In this edition of our Employee Spotlight, we sat down with Sem van Bergen, Visual Content Deisgner, to learn more about his role, what inspires him, and what it’s like to be part of the IXON team.
Sem: “I studied Media Design in Nijmegen. During my studies, I completed several internships, which gave me some valuable work experience. After graduating, I was looking for a company where I could put my creativity to use and keep developing my skills. That’s how I ended up at IXON.
"As a visual designer, I’m responsible for creating all kinds of visual content. This includes designing posters, flyers, advertisements, and other visual materials. The projects I work on are very diverse, and I’m often given the freedom to bring my own ideas and creativity to my designs. This makes my work very varied and enjoyable for me."
"I’ve already worked on so many great projects at IXON, so it’s hard to pick just one. One thing I think is really cool is that, since October, we’ve been advertising on the LED boards at the Mapei Stadium of US Sassuolo during all their home games. It’s really cool to see your work on TV."
Rough ideas go in, awesome designs come out. But just as important: Sem brings a healthy dose of enthusiasm and good vibes to the team every day.

"What I enjoy about working at IXON is the variety of projects, which keeps the work challenging. The atmosphere in the office is great, and we regularly have fun team outings outside of work. These create great moments together and help strengthen the bond between colleagues. That combination makes working at IXON really nice."
"In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family or grabbing a beer with friends. I’m also a real football fan and love watching football matches."
