In this edition of our Employee Spotlight, we sat down with Aris Montorsi, Account manager Italy, to learn more about his role, what inspires him, and what it’s like to be part of the IXON team.
Aris: “Before IXON, I spent seven years as a spare parts purchasing manager in the ceramic tile industry. It's a very traditional field, solid but honestly quite static. I've been a tech and automation enthusiast forever, so after a while I felt the need to move into something that truly evolves. When I discovered IXON and saw that they were building something genuinely innovative, the decision was a no-brainer.”
"I'm an Account Manager for Italy, i work with OEM machine builders and system integrators, helping them get the most out of IXON and making sure they stay happy. What I love is the variety: one day I'm deep in conversation with a packaging machine builder, the next with a food processing plant or an oil & gas equipment manufacturer. Every company brings different problems, different people, different ways of thinking. No two meetings are alike!"
"I believe strongly in Team Italy. My personal accomplishments wouldn't exist without the group. That said, a moment that really stuck with me happened at SPS: some of the people who came to our stand weren't just customers anymore, they'd become genuine collaborators. That kind of relationship doesn't happen by chance. It means you've built trust over time, day after day, as a team. That's what makes me proud."
